Learning through Art

After explaining the differences between the scribbling stage, pre-schematic stage, schematic stage, the gang age and psuedo naturalistic stage, we sent our students to work on creating an artwork that was typical of one of the stages. As you can see, this group had the scribbling stage. It is really important that your lessons are productive and that your students can understand the point you are trying to make. Here, we have used this activity and an assessment that will follow, in order to make sure we have everyones understanding about the topic.
